Amsterdam, 27 November 2009 - On the final day of the 2nd Eurobest Advertising Festival, the Integrated and Craft shortlists have been revealed.
The Craft category, which launched this year, received 269 entries out of which 50 were shortlisted and entries into the Integrated category totalled 76 from which the Jury chose 9 to shortlist.
Olivier Altmann, Executive Creative Director of Publicis Conseil Paris, presided over the Craft Jury whilst Andy Fackrell, Chief Creative Officer of 180 Amsterdam, headed up the Integrated Jury.
Yesterday’s afternoon sessions, included workshops from Microsoft Advertising on New Creative Possibilities, Deloitte on The Honest Future of Brands and Games as well as seminars from TribalDDB and Stink Digital on The Making of Carousel, this year’s Cannes Lions Film Grand Prix Winner. 180 Amsterdam presented their theory of 180º Thinking and thenetworkone discussed Zero-Budget Campaigns. Festival activities continued into the night with Networking After Dark where agencies opened their doors offering delegates the chance of fun networking.
The final day of the Festival has seen the Jury Presidents take to the stage to banish advertising related items in the Eurobest Room 101 seminar. Other seminars have included Textappeal and McDonald’s discussing McBrand Turnarounds and later this afternoon Syzygy and Spotify ask What Comes First: The Lyrics or the Tune?
The Eurobest Young Creatives Competition is also coming to a close today. After 48 hours working to a brief from a charity, the 15 teams have presented their integrated campaigns to a special jury who will discuss and decide on the worthy winners.
All of the winners will be announced at tonight’s Awards Ceremony that takes place at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Celebrations will then continue at the Eurobest After Party.
